"A1 Bespoke Joinery are an awful and negligent company. 1. They didn’t turn up on the agreed date of installation. Toni originally admitted his mistake but then backtracked and blamed me. 2. The installers smashed a kitchen tile and tried to leave without mentioning it. When I raised it with them, they shrugged and got defensive. 3. Worst of all, the windows are scratched in multiple places inside and outside. I didn’t see the scratches initially because the windows were installed on a dark February day, but they’re now noticeable. Toni’s refused to take any responsibility for the damage even though it was reported within 30 days. Edit: My first two points are the truth. Re. the scratches: Surely someone who works with glass knows that scratches aren’t visible in dark weather. Regardless, how exactly did I scratch the exterior side of the rear windows? They're two and three floors high. Did I hire scaffolding just to damage them? The painter took responsibility for the scratches (after I complained to you), but he only did so because he was afraid you’d no longer recommend him and he has a family to support. Yes, I mentioned I've had bad experiences with companies. I've also had lots of good ones. My experience with yours has been appalling, and your untruthful response to my review is the cherry on the cake."
