AJK Architecture + Design Ltd

"We used Alex and his team at AJK for two projects - a kitchen extension and side return in 2017, then a top floor office extension in 2023. Both projects went without any hitches and we were really impressed with the designs and ideas brought to the table - things which we hadn't considered, but which worked really well. The whole process to integrate surveyors and party wall specialists was also made easier with Alex's input, plus we went with an excellent builder on his recommendation. I would happily recommend AJK to anyone in need of an architect - and indeed have done so to the many people who compliment us on our kitchen."

"AJK were appointed to handle my development project, which involved converting a commercial unit into residential flats alongside a smaller commercial space. Their scope covered everything from design and planning to dealing with the council, securing planning permission, arranging assessments, preparing and reviewing tenders, and contract administration — all with regular progress updates. Alex has been outstanding from the very beginning and even after project completion. He is friendly, approachable, highly knowledgeable, and always willing to help. His expertise really showed when navigating the complex and often frustrating planning process — he dealt with every challenge head-on and always came up with practical solutions and options. A true problem solver. AJK were originally recommended to me, and since then, I've referred to friends, who have also used them — with equally great experiences. I’ll definitely be working with them again on future projects."

"AJK Architecture + Design have been outstanding partners on both new build and refurbishment projects. As a SME property developer, I’ve felt fully supported from day one – their expertise across planning, building works and interior design/fit-out is second to none. Alex and his team are highly professional yet friendly and approachable, making the whole process straightforward and stress-free. They consistently balance creativity with practical, cost-effective solutions, which has had a real impact on the success of my projects. It’s rare to find a team who can deliver the full journey so seamlessly. I’ve been genuinely impressed with their work and will definitely continue to use them on future projects. For any developer looking for trusted partners who deliver excellent results, AJK come highly recommended."

"We've (Shell and Beyond Projects) just completed a mews refurbishment and basement dig where AJK were the project architect. When issues have arisen (which they do in construction), AJK have been quick to help us resolve them. We look forward to working with them again and hope the next project is as successful as this one."

"We worked with Alex and team on the redesign of our house and outbuilding recently. We found Alex and Rabin so personable and straightforward to work with, they came up with lots of brilliant design ideas and also really listened to what was important to us and thought carefully about what would work for our period property. Alex expertly navigated the planning application process and was quickly on hand to answer any questions from our builders when needed. I wold have no hesitation in recommending Alex and team!"
