"I’m so happy with the way my bathroom has turned out. I’m really glad I found Amar by reading the reviews on google. He and his team done an amazing job. I initially called Amar to ask for a quote and he was able to come to my house the next day to see what needed to be done, which I appreciated. The price was reasonable, the job took them 2 days to tile the entire bathroom. They came back the next day to install the shower enclosure and electric shower. Everything is working fine, no leaks. The bathroom looks modern and trendy. I just need to find a toilet and I’ll be asking Amar to come back and fit it for me. I highly recommend Amar if you want to hire professionals."

"Very satisfied with the tiling work Amars and his team did in our kitchen. After comparing a few contractors, Amars’ offer was most competitive. He provided recommendations about the project design, and was generally very responsive to my needs (e.g I’ve asked him to delay the project start date). Finally, I’m satisfied with the final outcome. Looks great, detail oriented work. The team was so kind to do extra work they spotted was needed in my property (loose tiles in the bathroom) for no extra charge. Highly recommend and would use again for other handyman jobs. "Amar and his team’s quality of work is very poor that we ended up paying more to do the repairs. We did not realise this right after work completion but few weeks and months later, problems had come up. He did our bathroom and the plumbing of the waste pipe was not sealed ( found out later on), the flush button was loose and he cut a huge whole in the cabinet under the sink to accommodate pipe without asking us if this is fine. We asked him several times to fix the loose button and do remedial works to make the cut out in the cabinet look better but never fix them. We ended up hiring someone more trustworthy who can do the job right and the extra plumbing cost us more. Amar’s quotation is cheaper than others but don’t be deceived as you could fork out more for the repairs, all the contractors who quoted us for the repair mentioned how bad the work was done by Amar’s team. Amar specialises in tiling and that’s about it for his skills. Eventhough the tiling in our bathroom is decent but personally, I think the corners could have been done better. Mind you in the photo, it doesn’t look like there’s an issue with our bathroom. Apart from cheaper quotation, we actually chose Amar based on the photos on his website from previous work. His portfolio might look aesthetically good but there’s more than what you can just see. If you look at the other reviews left, you might wonder whether it’s all true or family and friends fabricated. Because we thought the bathroom was done ok and he gave reasonable quote to do our driveway and patio, we agreed for him to do it but again this showed issues not long after it was done as shown on the photos from our place. We asked him to fix the broken cement in the patio and driveway which he said he will but only came back to meet my husband to ask for more work. Amar’s means of payment for his work is also different from other contractors, he would demand for you to pay for a work he and his team have not yet completed although initial agreement is to have payment once work is completed at different stages. He would rush his worker to do a job just to show that it’s completed to get some payment which we always do immediately once a part of the job agreed is completed. For instance, his worker put a thin cement just to show that the cementing is done but this is not thick enough so got broken easily. Amar hires cheap labour who does not seem to have enough experience in what they do. As a person responsible for his team’s work, he should check this. My husband initially left Amar good review ( now deleted) as he asked us before to get more jobs from other clients and we did this as we did not find the problems at the early stage. I’m posting this detailed review so it would help others in dealing with Amar and hopefully , Amar will improve how he deals with his client and the overall quality of his work. Edited:for potential clients, Please have a look at the most recent review of AMAR tiling and the names who posted them. 6 days after i posted this review, he recently have so many 5 star reviews left ( probably to put the rating up). as far as i am aware, he doesn’t get much job hence he kept on asking for more job from us before so 🤷‍♀️ where did those review come from? You just have to connect the dots , coincidentally the names of the reviewers seem to suggest something. I forgot to mention, if he’s working in your place, Don’t let Amar leave stuff in your place or garden. At one point , he trespassed and jump into our garden to get his tools which we caught in the camera because we were not around and he can’t wait for us to let him in so he climbed and jumped over. As far as i am aware that’s illegal. When we told him that we saw in the camera what he did, he immediately called to say what he did. I felt like I want to complain and report them to trading standards. I could have just leave it because this review is meant to be enough to warn others but i really dislike dishonest people. Covering up reviews is not a professional way to handle business and deal with clients."
