"I got planning permission for a huge under garden kitchen, living room and bedroom of approximately 1500 sq ft. I contacted Darren of Basement Structures among several other contractors. I soon realised that Darren was in a different league to everyone else. He helped re-design various parts to make a better scheme and save costs. The project took about one year during Covid and despite the problems of supply etc, it all went without any issues. In fact, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute with little stress. Darren told us that the space would be as light as a ground floor room and that turned out to be true. The space is a real ‘wow’ and visitors are shocked how it feels so light and airy. It turned out far exceeding all our expectations. I’m looking forward to doing another project with Darren at some point. Three years later, we are still in touch and friends.
