Bluebirds Spaces Ltd

"Ben, Tom and Milen are just brilliant. We bought a house that had not been lived in for years and used Bluebird Spaces for the complete renovation, back to brick, including a loft conversion. Jobs included, lots of steel to stop the house falling down (!) fitting all new windows, underfloor heating, all new electrics throughout, new bathrooms, kitchens, air source heat pump, wallpapering, tiling, brick slip, wooden flooring, stone slab flooring, a patio, turf laying, the works. Not only were these guys and their team knowledgeable, hard working and great at communicating but they also pointed out issues that we had not thought of. Including a drainage error in our architect's plans which would have been disastrous if they had simply followed the architect's instructions. They met deadlines and worked well with any external contractors who came in for things including building control which was a huge weight of our minds. Every aspect of the work has been carried out to a very high standard with the most beautiful finish. They were also fastidiously tidy, sweeping and hoovering every day before they left so that when we visited everything was in great shape. This is the second time I have done a complete renovation with Tom Atanasov, last time was a flat before he joined forces with Milen and Ben and I would never go anywhere else. They are not allowed to retire! Would highly recommend. (The photos are an attempt to show the before and after for our kitchen and sitting room as well as one showing the extent of the work, at one point we had no rear wall and no roof!!)"

"We worked with Bluebird on our kitchen extension project. Highly recommend. Their were transparent, easy to work with, had top tradesmen who care about delivering a good build and were always happy to create solutions as we progressed. Thanks Ben, Tom and Milen!"

"We simply couldn't recommend Ben, Tom and Milen enough. The team was amazing for the duration of our ground floor project, which involved gutting and reconfiguring the lounge, kitchen and utility room. We got quotes from 3 separate builders, and the Bluebird team clearly stood out as a team we could collaboratively work with. We remember meeting the team before making the appointment and asking Tom if the work could be done in 6 weeks, to which he responded it could, unless you want it done properly. From day one the team was punctual, considerate, polite, and amazingly tidy. A standout moment in the project was what happened on day 3 of the demolition when the team discovered a previously unknown steel pillar hidden in a plasterboard wall. Whilst we were having a meltdown, the team rallied around us and came up with a range of possible solutions, offering us total flexibility. All work was completed to a high standard, and we are extremely happy with the work and the finished project. The carpentry team that fitted the wooden floor and our understair cupboard deserves a special call out, as people that have such pride in their work. Milen has the patience of a saint and never grumbled when we changed our minds on different aspects of the design. We will definitely use again!"

"We chose Ben/Tom/Milen and team over recommended builders from friends after meeting them in person. They were knowledgeable and explained each part the process/works in terms that I could understand and clearly explained any terminology. This helped build trust at the outset and their pricing seemed clear and fair. They are all very personable and easy to talk to. After having them onsite for 10 weeks it has been a pleasure to work with them. All the workers are friendly, clean up after themselves every day and the trust has been maintained. They constantly work to find solutions to unforeseen problems and work with my husband and I to get the look/design we want. I would wholeheartedly recommend them."

"We used Ben and his team to completely refurbish our house as well as create a new en suite bathroom. being an older house we had several unexpected issues but Bluebird Spaces managed to still get everything finished on time and delivered a really good finish. we particularly liked Ben’s and Thomas’ practically approach to things when issues arose and they went out of their way to get everything done as agreed. we are planning a few smaller refurbs and will use the team again. Can highly recommend."
