Bluelime Architecture

"Amazing!!! We were introduced to Bluelime Home Design by a friend. At that point we were convinced that our propery didn't have much potential and we were seriously considering moving, although we quite like the area we live in. We have had a brilliant, stress and hassle free experience with Bluelime and we can't thank the team enough! It has been an absolute pleasure going through the process and we have been informed of everything we need to consider every step along the way. Matt, our architect has created an absolutely stunning design and we are now incredibly excited about bringing it to live. The Virtual Reality experience we had in the office this week has been just mind blowing. We got to walk into our new home before it has even been built! This has given us a real feel for what our extended propery is going to look like - inside and out. 17/07 - Updating my review following submission to planning and recent interactions with the Council which have reconfirmed the message on Bluelime's slogan to the letter! Bluelime is certainly setting standards and changing games! This company takes creativity and service to a whole new level. We got challenged by the Council with regards to a window they did not agree with and things became complicated. Matt, our architect has been absolutely brilliant in how he has managed the communication and stayed on top all the way through. He found a fantastic solution to overcome the Council's concern whilst still meeting our needs, and he did this in no time. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome and incredibly grateful! We feel lucky to have been pointed your way, Bluelime and Matt, you are the best! Thank you so much!"

"Bluelime have been great in preparing the designs for our home redevelopment and submitting our planning application. Our architect had some great ideas and really listened to what we wanted from the project. The communication has been clear and the whole team have been really helpful every step of the way."

"Great communication and detail provided in our design and planning application process. The team - and particularly Sigrid - have spent a lot of time accommodating our needs and wants into the design, for an extension to the back and side of our house and to replace an external garage. We've been regularly updated with progress along the way, and look forward to continue working with BlueLime through the next stages, and the build!"

"We have used Bluelime from the start of our extension process. Our architect has always been friendly and responsive and the quality of workmanship in drawings and plans is excellent. From the survey on you can tell they use state of the art equipment. Not sure if it is due to Covid, but only ever having had one actual site visit from the architect and the rest over video call has been frustrating, it has been difficult to get ideas clearly explained. It is only when you see them drawn can you properly assess whether the ideas work but if not, or if anything has been missed or misconstrued over video calls or emails, then a further zoom consultation and changes to drawings are required and they are classed as forming part of the prepaid package. I feel Bluelime’s model is probably a sound one but it isn’t as effective in the recent environment, without the ability to just pick up the phone to the architect and meet face to face. Bluelime do say from the beginning that the construction estimates they provide on the plans are basic and necessarily arbitrary, but we found them to be well off the mark, and then following amendments to our plan they are not revised. Just a caution but I wouldn’t rely on their basic costing as a realistic indication. After completion of the plans we had our VR appointment and this was fantastic as it gave you a real feel of the space and what to expect. This being at the end of the process does however raise the question of what happens if the VR shows something you’re not happy with. Luckily this wasn’t the case for us."

"We have just submitted plans to council for approval. Bluelime helped us along the way especially in understanding what we can and can't do. We had opportunity visit their office for VR experience and provided with panoramic view images of our which was really helpful understanding the space. I think we would have appreciated some alternative ideas or creative options to push our thinking or challenge what we could have done. Even saying that the service so far has been good and we have been supported throughout. Updates to follow as we progress through planning towards build."
