"BVDS came to me through a personal recommendation and they certainly lived up to my expectations. We completely renovated the back of our house . They were so through from intial costing , surveys and a step by step design proposal to full spec . We love our “new” house and even in the hot weather the house feels cool and airy . 🥰"

"BVDS designed and managed 2 projects on our property - a loft conversion and then a side return extension & rebuild of the ground floor of the house. We loved the designs and options they created - they really understood what we needed and made sure it all fitted our budget. As well as loving the designs, we really enjoyed working with them! George and Ewald and their team are absolutely lovely and knowledgable and made the whole project an absolute joy. They took a lot of the stress out of it for all for us. They helped us find great builders, managed the build and the builders as well as the planning permission with ease and it all came within budget and time. We get so many complements on the finished result. Highly recommend them!"

"We enlisted help from BVDS to give us advice on how to redesign the ground floor of our house and also to advise on how best we could add a loft extension. The initial work all happened in lockdown so the first meetings were on Zoom. Ewald was really enthusiastic about the project and very flexible and helpful on the zoom meetings. He was very approachable and full of ideas which he was happy to discuss with us and re-work in accordance with our ideas. We were very impressed with his initial designs as he had managed to get a really good appreciation of our house and how it could be re-worked. Ewald designed our ground floor and came up with numerous very special features which we loved. BVDS handled the tendering for builders and the work was carried out by Optimal Build. We were also very happy with the work that the builders carried out on our behalf. Throughout the process, Ewald and Stephen were approachable, helpful, innovative and always respectful of what we wanted to achieve. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. We also had advice on colour schemes which were bolder than we would have chosen on our own but we are delighted with the new colourful look of our house. We moved back in and we are discovering new new joys each day. We love the unique features that Ewald designed. All the friends who have come to see the house have been blown away by changes we have made. We feel that we have moved into a new house with space which has been completely transformed. We could not recommend BVDS highly enough."

"We worked with this company on our London family house project back in 2015 and despite pleasant initial engagement, contracting BVDS was the biggest mistake we have made. Be aware they don't accept any challanges to cost, plans, timing or their delivery of services. They made us feel like we are given a favour they even work with us. They failed to make correctly a simple planning application and were not only unable to admit their failure / offer a solution....but from one day to another simply dropped the project instead, leaving us with additional costs, delays and gaps we have never been able to correct. We assumed we just had a bad luck and focused on moving but having seen now other reviews with so similar experiences I decided to document ours, so those who go with BVDS (tempted by social media adds), don't say they haven't been warned."

"BVDS are an incredibly talented set of architects! We worked with them on the renovation of our house in Hackney and we couldn’t be happier with the service, vision and attentiveness of the people there. They had a real focus and conviction in the design from the outset, which was important with our project because it was quite complicated. They really care about the relationship with the client and are extremely detailed in their design approach. As a result of their work BVDS have created for us a house that is incredibly easy to live in. Every inch of the design was well thought through and considered carefully. The end result is very impressive!! We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Great people and cracking architects!"
