"I decided to try out Brockley Scaffolding (AKA Assassins Scaffolding) on a job located near the company. Ricky was initially pretty responsive and produced a competitive quote. The reviews of the firm seemed OK so I took a chance on them. Unfortunately, the experience from this point on was pretty turbulent. After promising to erect the scaffolding on Friday, five days before the job was due to start, they were delayed. Monday lunchtime was promised but this was also missed. They eventually showed up on Tuesday afternoon but left site with the scaffolding incomplete (no ladder or gate). Our install team were left with no way of getting onto the roof until Wednesday lunchtime. The guys agreed to strike the scaffolding on the following Monday as the site manager needed access to the drains. They failed to show up and we then had a week of broken promises from Ricky as the days went by. No one answered the phone in all this time, it was impossible to talk to anyone. Eventually, after we threatened to get the equipment collected by another scaffolding firm, they turned up and removed it ten days late. In summary, the pricing was competitive but only use if timescale or communication are not issues for you. Reply to response: I think that anyone who bothers to read this will be able to conclude that your response is fallacious. Why bother lying? A bigger scaffold than needed? Changed the install date - Really? Lets just leave things there shall we?"
