Charles Henderson Construction

"Knocked down and rebuilt our garage, 20 years after building our extension. Workmanship as good as ever, took longer than expected due to circumstances outside their control but the finished result was well worth it. Would totally recommend CHC and I have done so with other people. CHC may not be the cheapest builder, but you know you will get a really good job from them. With all the 'cowboys' around peace of mind and confidence in the builder is very important and that is what you get."

"Henderson is honest, trustworthy and reliable. It is priceless to have a builder you can trust. He did a significant loft conversion for me (and, a few years before that, a significant bathroom remodelling) and I am about to use him again for a downstairs extension. The quality of the work was excellent. And it was also done on time and on budget. One way his Christian honesty shows through is that, when work isn't worth doing, he will honestly tell you it's not worth doing - his aim is to do a decent honest job rather than to make money. In short, I never bother getting quotes from other people for building work because I'd rather work with Henderson."

"Charles Henderson Construction built our single-storey rear extension about 2 years ago. They managed the whole process extremely well - from the outset Henderson listened very carefully to our requirements; throughout the build he took time to ensure we were happy with progress and was very responsive to our views. We are delighted with the finished room - it's been completed to a very high standard, looks great, and does exactly what we want it to. Above all, Henderson and his team were professional and friendly at all times."

"I’m thrilled to recommend Charles Henderson Construction who recently renovated my Victorian conversion. The project involved transforming my first-floor two-bedroom, one-bath home into a two-bedroom, two-bath, including moving multiple rooms, restructuring spaces, and coordinating a full team of skilled tradespeople including electricians, plumbers, tilers, plasterers, painters and an incredible carpenter. Charles Henderson Construction managed everything with precise efficiency, clear communication, and attention to detail. The quality of the work was lovely, and the new layout has completely transformed my home. What really stood out to me was how smooth he made the whole process. He kept me updated at every step, was quick to address any issues, and made sure the project stayed on track. He’s a great communicator, and his team was clearly just as skilled and committed as he is. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled contractor who delivers exceptional results, I can’t recommend Charles Henderson Construction highly enough."

"CHC excel at what they do. They did two jobs for me. First a complete demolition and rebuild of my garage. The finished product is superb and completely in keeping with the conservation area requirements. Secondly, CHC remodelled my en suite bathroom taking it from dull and functional to stunning opulence. So happy with the finished product and given the two jobs undertaken it is clear CHC work with the customer to ensure total satisfaction with the end result."
