"The surveyor turned up over an hour late They were supposed to come between 9 am and 5 pm and they arrived around 6 pm Theyβre supposed to call you before they come and they didnβt. I had to call the office and ask where they were. The report that I paid for is supposed to take 3 to 5 working days excluding weekends. I am still waiting for my report and it has gone over that time period This company has just taken my money and not done the Service that Iβve paid them for within the timeframe agreed"
"Very disappointing experience with Dunsin Surveyors. We booked and paid Β£360 for a Help to Buy RICS valuation and experienced missed appointments, poor communication and significant delays throughout the process. The original valuation came back at Β£350k, which we challenged with evidence of more appropriate comparable properties. After weeks of stress, further delays and Help to Buy rejecting the report due to unsuitable comparables being used, the company eventually reviewed and reissued the valuation at Β£325k β a Β£25,000 difference. To their credit, the company acknowledged shortcomings in communication and service and corrected the report, but we were left dealing with unnecessary stress, delays to our remortgage and additional mortgage costs as a result. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not use this company again."
"Very unprofessional. Turned up without a business card. Asked to borrow my ladder. Seemed very dodgy in character. Tried to get the deeds off of me."
"We had a great experience with Dunsin Surveyors. They were consistently responsive, helpful, and very professional in all their communications. Every email was answered in a timely manner, and they guided us through the valuation process with clarity and care. We truly appreciate their support and would happily recommend them to anyone needing a reliable surveyor."
"Avoid at all costs. This was an extremely poor Level 3 survey and added no real value to our house purchase. The report was unclear, inconsistent, and in parts simply wrong (e.g. misidentifying a trampoline as a βpondβ and raising concerns about trees over 50m away). Photos were blurry, unreferenced, and unusable, with no clear indication of where issues like damp actually exist or how serious they are. Almost everything was pushed into βfurther investigationβ, making the report effectively useless for decision-making or obtaining quotes. Communication was even worse. It is virtually impossible to speak to anyone directly. There is no access to the surveyor, calls go through reception with no answers, and response times are extremely slow. After consulting another surveyor, they described this as the worst report they had seen in over 30 years. Do not use this company for a Level 3 survey. It will not help you with your purchase."
