The bar staff are plentiful and efficient, so queues for drinks stay refreshingly short. I caught Cristobal Pesce performing, which was a real highlight. The security team also deserve a mention: professional and approachable, without the unnecessary strictness you sometimes find at other venues. One tip for anyone planning a visit: stop by Turners Old Star, a nearby pub, for a relaxed pre-drink before heading in."

"Just went to E1 for the first time for a techno party (CLTX and Nikolita) and had a great time. The doorstaff are impeccable, the atmosphere was spot on and there was a very diverse crowd. This is what "Fold" is pretending to be, inclusive. Really liked the venue so I'll be going again! 27th December 2025, I went for my 3rd party here, "Breakin Science", and it was the best one yet...... the line up was great, the sound was crisp and the atmosphere was very much like the raves in the 90's. I've just been to my 1st "House of silk" event, and it's another cracking night!"
