"Elms Contractor Ltd did a fantastic job of redecorating my flat after a leak from a neighbouring property. The team undertook replastered, painting and hiding various cracks which had developed. The work was done to a very high standard. There were a couple of minor snagging issues and the team swiftly returned to resolve them. The lads were polite, friendly and professional. I would happily use them again (though hope for no more leaks!)."

"Elms Contractors contacted me via Checker Trade. Martin came to our house to view the job and was very helpful. I wanted wallpaper stripping and the whole room plastered plus painted. He gave me a quote for various options and kept in touch frequently. They came on Sunday to strip the wallpaper and then today we had Jay doing the plastering. He made an excellent job of it and we were very pleased with the result. Martin coming back to paint once plaster dry. He's kept in touch all the time and I've felt very comfortable with him and his colleagues. Martin finished painting and I'm very pleased with the result."

"We made arrangements for Martin to paint our fully renovated flat in August. Unfortunately, Martin didn’t do the job himself, as we had expected, but sent two of his colleagues. They were messy and careless, and got paint everywhere. They did not put any protective materials down on the floors, didn’t tape up any of our woodwork or fixings, and damaged many of the new finishings we’d just installed. We raised our concerns with Martin and his colleagues, but they continued in similarly careless manner. When “finished”, we had to complain to get Martin and his colleagues to come and clean up the mess they made and damage they caused. After several tense days the co-owner of our flat thought they’d fixed most of the issues and signed off the work. Unfortunately, I just came back to the flat after several months abroad and found there was still a huge amount of mess and damage, including to our microcement floor, new door handles, windows and hinges. I brought this up with Martin, who has not disputed that his colleagues caused the damage, but is unwilling to help fix it. Take a look at the pictures, but I’m extremely disappointed with the standards and approach of Elms Contractor Limited."
