"John is the best possible engineer you could get – reasonable, explains everything very clearly and very knowledgeable. I called John after being quoted 4.3k by Pimlico Plumbers to put in a new boiler (and told I needed various other services). John was able to diagnose my issue through Whatsapp photos, and visited twice to fix my boiler. He showed me what he was doing, explained how various mechanisms in the boiler worked and gave me lots of advice about how to make sure the boiler continued to work. He also explained a lot of different things about how to keep my gas bills down, how the mechanisms between different parts of my apartment (radiators/showers/etc) all worked and what I could do to make sure everything was working efficiently. Through it all, he was reassuring about the issues I was having with the boiler, and made sure that I was completely aware of what was happening. John clearly cares a lot about his work + knows a lot about it too. He also has a lot of integrity and is very fair and upfront about what he charges, how much things cost and what you should not be paying for. I can't recommend him enough!"
