"Pros: competitive pricing, did a good job with our carpets, our mattress and our two sofas, brought a proper big machine that looked more professional than what our previous more expensive cleaner used. Cons: booking an appointment was a bit of a hassle (felt like I was e-mailing with an AI that kept forgetting what I had written in a previous e-mail). Cleaner was 20 minutes late. All in all decent experience. Given the price I would probably book again."

"AVOID - Carpets still dirty despite 'cleaning' them! I paid them to clean the carpets in my 1 bedroom flat in March. They arrived 4 hours late and only spent 10 minutes cleaning the carpets (I was not present while they were there). When I inspected the flat later on, the carpet was just as dirty as before they were in. I tried complaining by email and phone and spoke to Kristine Blake, who was absolutely no help at all, despite sending them photo's of the dirty carpets. I had to pay a different company to do reclean the carpets. Handy Cleaners now are not responding to my emails, asking for a refund. They are completely incompetent, unprofessional and THIEVES!!!!!"

"Edit to the initial review: the company replied to this review and suggested they would make effort to répond and sort out the issues set out below - then proceeded to ignore both of my emails setting out all information they asked for — Would absolutely not recommend this cleaner. The booking was for 11am for a carpet cleaning and they arrived 30 minutes late. On arrival they parked in a clearly marked no parking zone and ignored the instructions for on site parking which had been organised. As a result they immediately got a ticket and began shouting at my security and concierge. They threatened to not do the work unless my partner paid for their ticket. I ended up returning home as my partner did not feel comfortable by herself in the house with this individual Having eventually agreed to do the work, they left within 10 minutes and the carpet still has the marks and stains which were there beforehand but we are going to seek a different cleaner (thus incurring a double expense) to do this as we have no interest in this being redone by the same person. Then when I contacted them to make a complaint about this behaviour, I received no response on the phone or by email."

"Alex from Handy Cleaners did a great job of cleaning the carpets in the two bedrooms of my flat. He was very professional, helped me move the furniture around and was very courteous throughout."

"Very happy with the end of tenancy clean and carpet clean done by Handy Cleaners. The team arrived nice and early and did a good job. I went round with the team lead at the end to make sure all was ok and I was happy with the work, which I was. We had the inspection from the estate agent the next day and they were happy with it and could tell it was cleaned to a professional standard. I would use Handy Cleaners and their other services again (I've used their gardening services before and was very happy with that too). Handy Cleaners were mid priced compared to the other quotes I got."
