"We are really pleased with the kitchen and the service we received from Howdens Walthamstow with Marvin, Danny and Dev and the rest of the Team. We started to plan our kitchen refurbishment well in advanced and Marvin was really patient and helpful in assisting us to pick the right kitchen that fitted our budget. He did numerous adjustments and also made suggestions when we were confused. Delivery was on time and some items which were damaged during transit were promptly replaced. Marvin did our first onsite measuring and when we had gutted the old kitchen and were ready to proceed Dev did an additional measurement recheck and suggested some final additions that were just right. We are very pleased with our kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Howdens Walthamstow."

"I had to change my review, not because service standard improved but to update all those intending to buy. There were 8 attempted deliverys none of them fulfilled the original order. Store promised to compensate £600 ,£300 before Xmas and £300 after Xmas To date its been 6 months and nothing has been paid, Head office is even worse as they have two recorded complaints and none of them has had any results. Last email was sent a few weeks ago and nothing has come out of it. Trading standards and FCA to be contacted on Monday to resolve this as this has been nothing but a complete joke! Financial lose was £1750 so now will be chasing full amount lost instead of £600 which was promised. Customer Service since 21st Nov hasn't done anything about it !!!!"

"I would strongly not recommend going to this branch (Blackhorse Road) Service was great when getting our kitchen measured by Ali. However, since his departure to another branch, things very quickly went down hill. There were multiple delays in getting a reply via call or email. They say they will get back in contact within a set timeframe, and they don't - this includes managers. We have had to chase multiple times a day to get through to anyone, including the managers who have been looking at the account. Following the payment and delivery, our builder highlighted that they had missed multiple items from the design and many items not provided at the correct size. Which meant having to revisit the branch and collect themselves at their own cost. The kitchen itself is lovely, but the customer service is terrible, and therefore I would not recommend it. This has caused a tremendous amount of stress and has taken much longer than it needs to. They will quickly take your money and then fail to provide adequate assistance. They brush you off in calls, don't get back to you, and the items are pricey. If you are a first-time kitchen buyer, I would avoid this branch and use to Leyton (if near by) - our friends have recently used and recommend."
