"Doesn’t even exist on the high street"

"Appalling experience. I was quoted £80 labour and was told the lock replacement would start from £45. They told me they could be with me the following morning 10-12am, then they changed x3 times until 6pm. Once the job was completed, I was given a bill of £216. I checked the bill and they fitted me in a lock that apparently costs £95 without consulting me. On any other day I would have just paid and never use again as I prefer to have transparency in any situation. BUT I’ve now been left with absolutely awful damage to the architrave (frame around the door) I’ll attach pictures to show the damage. I cried on the phone to them, as I’m now left with extra stress but have been threatened to pay or else they’ll charge extra money on top. -did not even offer discount for damage or misleading price. STAY AWAY. bullies -do a shoddy job and then bully you into paying. -also another word of caution*** the company manager told me that this kind of damage is apparently expected and normal??? -oh and the phone conversation I had with this family run business man, he continued to say “everyone has problems you still need to pay”. Pictures attached: baring in mind the damage to the wood never existed previously."
