London Borough Roofing Limited

"James and his father are very personable and likeable people. I cannot say the same about the quality of James's work though. James already came once to patch up the work he did 3 years ago, but the roof keeps crumbling down due to the very poor cement he used. The photo attached tells a thousand stories. It would be very honorable if James came to fix it one more time, hopefully this time in a permanent way. The email address is no longer active."

"This guy advertised on Bark as Platinum Roofers South East and called himself Pat (Patrick Cawley). I've read the reviews and sounds like the same person and funnily the invoice is the exact address. Scamming is his is job as the £7000 he got from us for a roof repair didn't last two weeks. Came back to inspect the leak sweating and nervous as hell. Then changed his phone numbers so no longer available. Very horrid person and I hope he will get his just reward very soon! Response to owner: Well you certainly know him as I read the reviews and Patrick featured on Leah Kreitzman. The same pattern of behaviour until he stopped his mobile even has your address on the invoice leaving out the door number which is 14!"

"Do not go with this company, they left us completely out of pocket and we had to get another company out to fix it. At best they used temporary measures to fix the leaks in our roof but even they had failed after a few weeks. The promises to return to fix it, to refund, none of them came true. James is personable and persuasive but he is a total scam and will cost you dearly. There are scores of fake reviews on here, read them closely, they don’t add up. You’ve been warned."

"Avoid these roofers at all costs. James is incredibly friendly and personable and came across as very trustworthy. Unfortunately the work they did is awful and roof leaked again after 2 weeks. Despite repeated requests for him to return / compensate us, this has never materialised. Lots of polite messages back saying they will come back tomorrow, the next day, the weekend or the money will be transferred today, in 30 minutes etc and all to no avail. They have literally stolen £2,500 from us. Photos show the material they used to cover our ridge already coming off, the fact they used some sort of black felt, rather than a slate to replace the missing title, and also that some sort if metal strip was used at bottom of roof to cover a gap in the tiles. Be careful as there are lots of fake reviews are here to ‘drown out’ the actual bad reviews. I just saw the fake ‘amazing’ reviews and hence why I decided to go with these guys."

"Buyer beware. We used him to fix the roof that was causing a leak. While he was quick to respond and be available to “fix” the roof the first time I reached out, I quickly realised nothing was fixed. Over the course of 5 months he has either not responded, stood me up 3 times when we had scheduled agreed times, and lastly…. Actually done more damage to the roof and the windows on it. His claim of giving you a “guarantee” is a lie, as I quickly found out. There is no option for a refund with him. James Casey is not a serious roofer nor is he capable of this job. I am currently pursuing legal action due to the damage he has done. — Edit: since I posted this review, James has responded with derogatory language and 3 new 5-star reviews subsequently appeared."
