LSD Architects

"Our project started with the idea that we wanted a downstairs loo and a bit more kitchen space in our Victorian semi detached home. Since meeting with Luka and Dan we have been on a huge adventure and are now starting to enjoy the most extraordinary space. From the beginning we felt that they listened to us and got to know about us, inspiring us with their creativity and ideas. We needed a lot of hand holding and they provided this with good humour and patience despite the inevitable stresses and challenges on the way. We now have a beautiful airy kitchen and dining area, a courtyard and reading corner, all cosy yet flooded with light. Words don’t really do it justice. Plus there is now a stylish shower room and downstairs loo! Thank you LSD."

"We worked with LSD Architects over a period of about two years, covering all phases of a house improvement project, from concept through to final sign off. LSD listened very well through the brief and concept process and brought a lot of ideas to satisfy the quite wide brief that we initially gave them for our Victorian terraced home. We iterated on this a few times with them before landing on something that we felt met our needs. LSD have a very good sense of style and pushed us to be more adventurous with our design choices, for example they were completely right with their proposal for our outside tiling, despite our initial resistance. Following this, LSD used their knowledge of the local borough planning regulations to ensure that we gained planning permission the first time. Throughout the build process, LSD were very supportive and assisted quickly with any queries our builders had. We had a few hiccups on the way but LSD stepped in to find alternatives and helped keep the project on track. Their perseverance and good cheer really got us through! Lastly, I’m very happy with the final results. LSD really brought to life our goals of natural light through full-length roof-lights and large sliding windows, giving us connection to the outdoors. Our timber window bench is a particular favourite and the cork flooring adds a soft, natural feel, offset against the visible structural beams and joists. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so."

"We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Luka of LSD Architects. They were so accommodating and patient, even though we had one of the smaller projects they usually take on. We can’t fault their service or value for money and would highly recommend."

"A fantastic experience throughout. The LSD team came up with some great concepts and turned an otherwise basic side return project into a fantastic original design adding space and originality to the space.I was really pleased with their design knowledge and skill sets. Would definitely recommend and use them again."

"I had the pleasure of collaborating with LSD Architects on the design and construction of our family home in Holland Park. Working closely with partners Luka, Sam, and Dan was a truly enjoyable experience. Their innovative approach and commitment to sustainability were evident throughout the project. They transformed our vision into a modern, vibrant living space, taking inspiration from the Victorian architecture of our home. I highly recommend LSD Architects for their professionalism, creativity, and dedication to excellence -- especially when dealing with the contractors and resolving numerous issues during construction."
