Mark Watson Architects

"We appointed MWA for a complete renovation and extension of our family home – the service provided throughout exceeded our expectations and has been flawless. MWA conducted Planning, Technical Design and Onsite and Contract Administration services. For the Planning and Technical Design, the quality of work was exceptional, with Mark providing a level of input and expertise that allowed the design to be meet all our expectations. Mark was thoughtful, creative and engaging throughout, understanding our brief and using his knowledge to design a family home that met our needs. While not necessarily a service we anticipated with an architect, the Onsite and Contract Administration services were superb. Our project was on time, on budget and delivered to the highest quality – one of the fundamental reasons for that was MWA’s input through the Onsite and Administration Services. Mark has a wealth of real-world knowledge of what is needed during a significant residential building project – being able to leverage this throughout the build was invaluable. If considering any form of home renovation, I cannot recommend MWA highly enough – the service was outstanding throughout and has provided us with a family home we are delighted with."

"MWA have worked with us to renovate and extend our Victorian home, and we are beyond thrilled with the results. Design, communication, problem solving and project management were all excellent. We felt supported and involved at every step, and to top it off the space we have created balances our family's requirements with architectural flair. Highly recommend."

"We are delighted that we chose MWA to get our loft conversion in Richmond through planning and to produce a very detailed technical package. Mark ensured we maximised our usable space by managing to obtain planning permission for a second bedroom, even when it looked like it was going to be rejected in the first instance. The level of detail within the Tender drawings made the process of selecting a contractor straightforward as the Tenders received were of a comparable nature. We would definitely use MWA on any future projects."

"We appointed Mark Watson Architects to undertake a Survey, Developed Design achieving Planning Approval and subsequently the completion of the Technical Package for Tender. MWA was also able to create a Technical Package which split the project into multiple phases’. At every step, we have felt well supported and advised. I cannot recommend MWA highly enough. The professionalism, ideas, and outputs have been impeccable."

"My experience with Mark Watson Architects greatly exceeded my high expectations. I engaged Mark and his team in respect of a near total rebuild, wishing to add modern features which were sympathetic to some nice historical features. The finished design was exemplary and has completely redefined, for the better, how we reside within the property. I also engaged Mark in respect of the overall management of the project. The duration of the rebuild was 18 months and enabled me to continue with the running of my business. Mark was able to resolved issues without my full engagement and source quality products at discounted costs. The financial advantages to me more than covered the fees incurred. I was even able to enjoy holidays in the safe knowledge that someone else was shouldering the burden. The result is a home which is widely acknowledged as being one of the finest in the area. Well done Mark Watson Architects, I will always be grateful and a very satisfied client."
