I called Oscar Locksmith (OL) at 9:12 pm, and their tech, Lewis, arrived at 9:35 pm. Job done: Lewis diagnosed a failed Euro cylinder on the flat’s uPVC door, gained entry non-destructively in under five minutes, then replaced the cylinder with a 3-star BS-rated unit, re-aligned the strike plate, and cut two matching keys on the spot. He also tested the multi-point mechanism a few times and lubricated it. We were wrapped by 10:05 pm."

"If I could give zero stars, I would. This was the most unprofessional and frustrating service I’ve ever experienced. Here’s what went wrong: 1. Dishonest Pricing: I was quoted £85 initially, but by the time the technician finished, the price had tripled to £238 with no extra work done. The only “service” provided was breaking the lock and drilling a hole in the door, and he even tried to upsell us a £400-£500 lock we didn’t need. Total scam. 2. Pressure to Pay: When we questioned the ridiculous price hike, we were met with dismissive, condescending behavior, including smirks and rude remarks. My girlfriend, who asked fair questions about the pricing, was treated with disrespect. 3. Unprofessional Conduct: The technician drove off recklessly, reversing quickly down a street lined with cars, creating a dangerous situation for pedestrians. This level of carelessness is unacceptable. 4. Poor Service Quality: Not only did the technician fail to reinstall the lock, but he also left us with a drilled hole in the door and no usable solution. That’s it—£238 for nothing more than damage and frustration. 5. Lack of Accountability: I have emailed multiple times asking for an invoice and explanation of the overcharges, but I’ve been completely ignored. This company clearly does not care about its customers or operating transparently. Avoid this company at all costs. I have emailed the email given in tiger reviews, no reply!!! They are dishonest, unprofessional, and seem more interested in taking your money than providing any real service. Trading Standards and my bank will be hearing from me."
