Portico Design & Build

"We recently worked with Joe and the team on the full refurbishment of our Pilates studio, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The project was managed professionally throughout, with clear communication, good attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability at every stage. Joe was always responsive, solutions-focused and kept everything moving in the right direction. The quality of the finish speaks for itself, and the space has come together exactly as we had hoped. A big thank you to Joe and the entire team. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"Where do I even begin? Portico are absolutely outstanding, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From our very first meeting, the owners brought years of experience and genuine expertise to the table. Rather than simply pitching for the job, they walked us through our plans thoughtfully - offering practical advice on layout, helping us maximise our space, and making the most of our view. Their cost estimate was realistic and transparent from day one. You really do get that you pay for, and these guys are simply the best. Throughout the entire build, communication was seamless. Every question I had was answered promptly, and each stage of the project was clearly explained. The whole team from the three owners to every tradesperson on site, were professional, respectful, tidy and consistently on time. We were living in the property during the build, and the team were incredibly mindful of that, making the whole experience far less disruptive than we feared. We came in on time and within budget - something that speaks volumes. You hear horror stories about projects going wrong. Ours was the complete opposite. Portico turned what could have been a stressful process into a genuinely enjoyable one. We are absolutely thrilled with the result. Thank you to the entire Portico team! We can’t wait to have you back again soon!"

"We had a kitchen extension and really glad we went with Portico. We've been using the new kitchen and extension for a year now and very happy with the results. They were wonderful to work with during the project and didn't cut any corners. They were also very accommodating during the project when we added changes and additional work. We've already recommended them to friends who are also very happy with the work. Thanks again team!"

"We recently completed a downstairs renovation including side extension kitchen project and front garden with Portico, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. From the very start, the entire team – Joe, Owen, Sonny, Jason and the talented crew – were professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. The craftsmanship was excellent across the board, especially the carpentry work by Alex, which brought a beautiful, bespoke finish to our home. The team was on time, well-organised, communicative, respectful and transparent about budget at every stage, which made the process feel smooth and stress-free. What truly stood out was the high level of communication and collaborative spirit brought to the job. Portico listened carefully to our brief and then went above and beyond with creative suggestions and intelligent solutions that elevated the entire project. Their input helped take our home to the next level – it now not only functions perfectly for our family but looks amazing too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Portico to anyone looking for top-quality building work. Top experience from start to finish."

"The team at Portico were simply brilliant from start to finish. On budget and on time, with a great attention to detail on the finish. Joe was always on hand to sort things throughout the project. Nothing was ever too much hassle, and would 10/10 recommend."
