"We had a very good experience with this Prokil company - clear, prompt and efficient communication, and the work carried out by Temo who was pleasant, tidy and professional. Highly recommend."

"Unfortunately, this has been a very disappointing experience altogether. They quoted a job and seemed pragmatic about how to address the damp issues in my living room built-ins, so we went ahead. Less than six months after completion, the stench of damp and visible mold was all over the inside of the cabinets. They charge you to come and inspect this - £60 - when I had provided plenty of photos; then, they apparently cancelled the appointment for a specialist to come and look at it because I hadn't responded to a chaser e-mail three days before Christmas to confirm the appointment. The next appointment available is in ~2 weeks, and there seems to be zero regard for the obvious health and safety issue that their poor workmanship has created. Altogether, taking stock of the experience: work was not completed diligently so has created a hazardous living environment, the communication by the office staff and level of care is really poor, and I am certainly facing material incremental costs related to decorating after the works are repaired (hopefully sufficiently this time....)"

"Highly Recommend. From the initial damp survey through to completion of the actual work, Prokil were highly professional and courteous throughout. They always took the time to answer all my questions and explain exactly why something needed to be done the way it was. Despite work being done across 2 rooms they ensured that there was minimum disruption and did a great job clearing everything up at the end. Thank you Joe, Calvin, Audrius and Jennifer!"

"Be aware……. After damp proofing work Prokil undertook on my property failed the main focus of the Prokil customer care was the small Print of their guarantee - which isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. (Note IF their work fails they do not cover the subsequent redecoration or associated costs despite it being their fault) Two separate damp proof specialists observed the methods and materials Prokil used on my property and were horrified. Gaffa tape used around corners rather than proper use of the relevant membrane. The plaster mix they use if the wall depth doesn’t allow membrane use failed within months. Using Prokil is like playing the lottery - you might get lucky! But if you don’t, do not expect anything other than being directed to their guarantee - it’s not worth anything. That’s said you will find the various differing freelance characters they send to do the work tend to offer their services for other work be it decorating etc"

"They deserve two stars just because they managed to “do” the work. But the communication was terrible- a few times they came to my house but pressed a wrong buzzer and then went away so I had to wait another X days for another appointment. They had to come 3 times because the initial check hasn’t been done properly. Lack of attention to detail from the survey level up to the actual works being done. They damaged the Victorian wooden fireplace surrounding and left the house in a terrible dirt (eg my private printer got broken due to the dust and the lack of a professional cover), including the brown paint splash on a white ceiling. Not to mention the fact that the actual works have been rescheduled three times, not even ending on time. They also came one day earlier than expected, forcing me to prepare my house for the works in a complete panic and rush. An intern would do better than that “professional “ company."
