QualityBuild Hackney House Extensions

"We had been thinking about extending the back of the house for over a year before we actually started getting quotes. QualityBuild was the second firm we met with and the conversation went differently from the first one, they asked about how we use the space day to day rather than just measuring up and leaving. The design stage took about a month with a few revisions, mostly because we kept changing our minds about the kitchen island. Planning went through without issues, which they handled including the neighbour consultation bits. Build started about six weeks after planning approval came through. Through the build I had a weekly catch up with the site manager which kept everything moving. There were a couple of small decisions that came up mid-build, like where to put sockets in the new wall, and these got resolved on the spot. Whole project from first meeting to handover was about nine months."

"QualityBuild added a two storey extension to our Hackney property. The additional space has given us a fourth bedroom and larger kitchen. Well constructed and neatly finished."

"From the initial quote to the final walkthrough, QualityBuild was professional. We were nervous about the mess of a double-storey extension in Victoria Park, but they managed the site well. They kept us updated on every stage of the build and there were no hidden costs at the end."

"The team was really tidy which I appreciated. They used high quality timber for the frame and the brickwork matches our house in hackney perfectly. Arrived at 8 every morning and didn’t leave any rubbish behind when the extension was finished. Very impressed with the work ethic."

"The planning process with QualityBuild was much easier than I thought. They explained the structural requirements for our extension in homerton and handled the tricky bits with the council. Communication was clear throughout the build. It's rare to find builders who actually call you back."
