"After visiting at least 6-7 kitchen companies (from the likes of Howden's and Wren all the way to bespoke options) to understand not only how much would the kitchen we wanted would roughly cost, but also to see the different options + timelines, we decided to go with Schmidt Fulham and I have to say we couldn't have done a better choice! From the first moment when I went into the showroom "just looking", Anastasia - who was our lead designer - was super professional and promptly followed up on everything. This is something I want to highlight as well as Schmidt was the only company that would always get back immediately and with the required information. In comparison, for example, after spending over 2hrs at Magnet designing a kitchen, I never ever heard back until some manager wanted feedback. At the end, I was between Schmidt and another provider, but my husband was the last to tilt the scales towards Schmidt, not only because of the beautifully designed and presented kitchen (you get to experience it with Oculus VR headset!) but also because of the warranties, the financing options and the convenience that it is literally around the corner from us. That last bit ended up being far more valuable than we expected: when the works began in the flat to prepare for the kitchen, we discovered that one of the measurements wouldn't be accurate anymore because we had an extension ceiling - this was probably the most stressful 24hrs I had during the renovations because I had no clue whether our kitchen plans would be ruined because of it. However, both my builders and the whole team at Schmidt worked diligently to discuss options and - miraculously - everything worked even better than expected. I fully attribute this to both my builders and Schmidt. After that initial hiccup, the plan went exactly to schedule and we had our kitchen in the timeframe we had initially planned for and within the specs and budget we aimed. I cannot praise Elfat, Obai, Viktoriya and Anastasia (who, sadly, isn't with Schmidt anymore) enough for all the help, care and professionalism throughout. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful - way more than the VR showed - and, above all, super functional! As a couple who loves to cook, moving around the kitchen is very seamless. The flow makes sense and is completely intuitive. We would 100% recommend Schmidt to anyone that is considering doing a kitchen. Thanks again for making the heart of our flat look so good and be so functional!"

"NEVER AGAIN! You are better off spending your money ANYWHERE else. The annoying thing is that despite the obvious evidence (here posted) they always find an excuse for not standing up to it. Mistakes can happen, but always saying that the customer is wrong and not even offering a refund for some obvious faults is inadmissible. Communication also is very confusing. One person tell you one thing and then you speak with someone else there and says the opposite. Good luck!!!!! 1) they left a hole under a cabinet. They measured the space 2 times before starting the works and the answer was: ^this is a standard fitting details that normally requires a side filler^. I paid a lot of money for this kitchen and side fillers were not included? Is this a new modern style of kitchen with holes? The fitters had also extra material and they did not even bother to fill it and they left like that. Professional. 2) we specifically selected them because they offer customized solutions. We asked for cabinets up to the ceiling. From day one. The CGI was showing cabinets up to the ceiling. See in the pictures how much gap they left which according to them, they never build kitchens up to the ceiling (because the oven needs ventilation. Unfortunately there are no appliances on this side, so a poor excuse. Their justification is that the drawings showed clearly there would have been a gap at the top (of course during my weekends to relax I spend my time reading kitchen drawings and I can easily see that after you came to measure 2x and I asked for cabinets up to the ceiling, you instead left a gap. And the CGI is just indicative according to their contract, of course. So don’t bother to even a look at it becuase it could be all different). 3) asked for LED under the shelves, with written confirmation via email. They said I signed off on the order and LED were not included and the shelves selected were not made to include LED. Excuse me if on a 10-15 pages order where even the screws were present I did not see that the shelves YOU selected were without an LED. Also if I see 2 shelves in the pdf order how do I know that are with the channel for the LED? You are the kitchen experts, not your customers. They said we could buy some LED lights and stick them underneath. Very high standard solution. Maybe we should also have some gaps there too to be more in line with the cabinet that has a hole on the same side 4) they said we could have selected the countertop later, so we could check how the kitchen looks like. We selected a countertop that was 12mm, they said the only difference between the other option was the price and the thickness. Do you think we were told that the kitchen was designed for a 20mm countertop and choosing the 12mm would have had consequences? Of course not, oh but we signed off on the 12mm ourselves. My mistake! As if I know that that other parts of the kitchen are designed with a 20mm because again during my spare time I build and design kitchens. If I would have known, I would have gone for the other option no? Extremely poor communication. Bottom line we ended up spending more money to fix all the issues they left and it would have been better to go somewhere else. Lesson learned. Stay away. For completeness, I cannot add the email correspondence with the showroom due to google policy but I do have it and it seems pretty clear the the LED lights should have been included in the order, but were not and it is our fault because we signed on the technical PDF with the order details. Hope other people have better luck or skills in understanding what is in there through all those line items with weird names becuase once you do and something is wrong.. that is your (the client) fault."
