I then done my research afterwards which is not normal for me, but only to find that they had good reviews, so decided to go ahead and appoint Bluelime services. "We have just completed the design phase with Bluelime. Our Architect Matthew was very friendly and understood our needs straight away. He talked us through the process and helped to explain the trickier parts of the build. Our drawings were completed quickly, and only required some minor tweaks before we were able to sign them off. "Our experience with Bluelime to date has been impressive. We tendered our work to four different architects in the area and they were first to respond. Not only that but also first for an on site discussion about our plans and what bluelime could help us out with. The quote was one of the lower ones received and easily the most prompt. We had a few questions around the different packages offered and details in the contract which the owner of the business was more than happy to explain in detail and answer our follow up questions. Amount of time given to us did not appear to be a concern and we finished the call satisfied that everything had been covered. Next stage was the laser mapping of the property, which was done very thoroughly - took longer than expected - but included many more details than I thought would happen (Wendy House in garden mapped for example). However better to be too thorough than not thorough enough. Following that we had a covid compliant face to face meeting with Matt who listened to us wittering away about our thoughts for the new house design. First plans came through on schedule and we had a video call to discuss some amendments which were taken well be Matt. Just over a week later two new options were sent through incorporating all the discussed changes. Once confirmed plans have now been submitted to planning. Fingers crossed it continues to go smoothly. All in all a reassuring experience with Bluelime, good quality work at a competitive price with friendly people who have delivered a wonderful solution at all promised dates along the way."
