"Charging people £500 plus VAT (so £600) to free them from a locked room is extortionate. It takes about 10 minutes of work, so even with driving time it's at most an hour. The person locked in may not have a choice, if they have no other way to get out, and The Lock Specialist Ltd exploits that to charge ridiculous amounts of money. Edit: Of course they would accuse me of giving a fake review and report me to Google, how else can they keep this fabricated 5 star rating? Save your money and go with a company that charges realistic prices. Additional edit in response: You can say that your fees reflect the quality of your service all you like. £600 is extortionate when it is the fee charged to free someone from a locked room, regardless of the time. A competitor did the same work for £150, and at the same time. Would you like me to have sat in the bathroom until 8am before getting help? At the end of the day, you can do what you want. I'm just pointing out that, especially during a cost of living crisis, this is the equivalent of setting up a water shop in a desert and charging £100 because you have "premium water"."
